夫琅和费环形山(Fraunhofer)是月球正面南半部一座古老的大撞击坑,约形成于45.5-39.2亿年前的前酒海纪[1],其名称取自德国物理学家、光学大师"约瑟夫·冯·夫琅和费"(1787年-1826年),1935年国际天文学联合会批准接受。

该陨坑北面靠近环壁平原-弗内留斯环形山(Furnerius)、东南偏南毗邻维加陨石坑位于它的东南偏东,马利特环形山位于它的西南偏南、西南偏西则坐落了扬环形山[3]。该陨坑中心月面坐标为39°31′S 59°04′E / 39.52°S 59.06°E,直径57.8公里[4],深度2.16公里[5]。
夫琅和费环形山外观呈圆形状,坑壁已受到一些小型撞击的侵蚀,其中西北壁横跨了卫星坑"夫琅和费 V"并部分延伸至它的内侧壁,而北侧壁也覆盖了二座更小的撞击坑,坑壁其余部分相对较为完整,沿内侧壁分布有一些细小的陨坑。该陨坑侧壁平均高出周边地形1180米[1],内部容积约为2600公里3[1]。碗状的坑底较为平坦,散布有少量的微型坑,南部坑底三分之二地表的反照率比北部略低,可能该部分坑底已被熔岩覆盖和抹平。
