1979年，加西亚出生在美国佛罗里达州塔帕，他的父亲是古巴的杰伊·加西亚，他是一个妇科医生；母亲叫洛林，是一个家庭主妇和小学教师。[1][2][3][4] 加西亚有一个兄弟叫“迈克尔·加西亚”。她在10岁时就出演当地的戏剧。

2008年，加西亚和艾尼亚订婚，艾尼亚是是一个服装公司的老板。[5] 他们约会了将近2年。
2009年8月，《人物》杂志报道，加西亚纽约的尼可拉斯·史威瑟的住所和其约会。[6] 2010年5月，他们订婚。[7] 2010年12月11日，他们在佛罗里达州的棕榈滩结婚。[8]
