蓝额鹦鹉属（学名：Northiella，台湾作蓝帽鹦鹉属），是鹦鹉目鹦鹉科下的一个属。[2]

本属由澳大利亚鸟类学家格雷戈里·马修斯于1912年提议建立，马修斯认为当时被归入红腰鹦鹉亚种的黄腹蓝额鹦鹉的翅膀特征与指名亚种不同。[4]其属名Northiella来自于澳大利亚鸟类学者艾尔弗雷德·约翰·诺思。[5]
本属长期作为一个只有黄腹蓝额鹦鹉一个物种（同时也因此是模式种）的属，2015年研究提出黄腹蓝额鹦鹉下的一个亚种N.h. narethae应作拆分。[6]因此现今各鸟类名录间可能有该亚种拆分而出，成为黄腹蓝额鹦鹉，但也有继续维持一单型属的情形。[2][7]
保护情况[编辑]
该属鹦鹉均受《濒危野生动植物种国际贸易公约》所保护，除了橙腹鹦鹉被列于附录一之外，其余物种均列于附录二内。[8]
