新聞翻譯是報紙上最常用的翻譯類型。新聞翻譯研究（JTR）是翻譯研究的一個新領域[1]。新聞翻譯在2000年代中期首次得到研究，但早在17世紀，翻譯就開始出現在了報紙上[2]。
