甲基球菌屬（學名：Methylococcus）為甲基球菌目甲基球菌科的一屬好氧或兼性厭氧發酵型革蘭氏陰性桿菌。細胞球狀，通常成對出現。此屬的模式種為莢膜甲基球菌(Methylococcus capsulatus)。
