扁头虫（学名：Soomaspis），为在南非奥陶纪地层发现的一种早期小型海生节肢动物，身长约3公分[1] [2]
命名[编辑]
扁头虫的属名Soomaspis由Soom（南非一处页岩）与aspis（希腊语中的壳）组成，种小名splendida则是拉丁文中的“亮丽”。
