蒙哥馬利·克利夫特（英語：Montgomery Clift，1920年10月17日—1966年7月23日），美國演員[1][2]。
生平[編輯]
他出生於內布拉斯加州奧馬哈，雙親在1914年結婚，都是貴格會信徒[3][4]。克利夫特在他的職業生涯中獲得4個奧斯卡獎提名，包含最佳男主角和最佳男配角[5]。1956年因車禍毀容後，他濫用酒精和處方藥，變得飄忽不定。
克利夫特的首次銀幕處女作是1948年和約翰·韋恩一起合作的電影《紅河谷》，並一炮而紅。個人生活方面，直到1950年代早期，克利夫特是同性戀者,雖然他繼續隱藏他的性取向並和多位女影星保持著非常曖昧的友情，尤其是和伊莉莎白·泰勒的關係。 [6]

1966年7月23日，他在紐約家中去世。他的護士和伴侶洛倫佐·詹姆士（Lorenzo James）在早上6:30發現他房門緊鎖，破門失敗從後花園架了梯子才進入房間，發現他已經去世。[7]
其死因一般認為是吸毒，屍檢時還發現他患有痢疾、結腸炎和甲狀腺功能減退[8]，他的告別儀式在麥迪遜大道的聖公會聖雅各堂舉行，洛琳·白考兒、南希·沃克等150人到場，之後，他下葬於布魯克林展望公園的貴格會公墓[9]。
