世界沙灘運動會
“世界沙滩运动会”是由国家奥林匹克委员会协会组织的一项国际性综合运动。奥运会每两年举行一次。第一届计划于2019年10月10日至15日在美国的圣地亚哥举行[1]，但在圣地亚哥未能筹集到必要的资金后[2]，后来被改到卡塔尔多哈举行[3]。
历史
2019年6月14日，ANOC宣布卡塔尔将作为2019年世界沙滩运动会的东道主，因为它拥有“壮观的海滨位置”。运动会将于10月12日至16日举行。[4][5] 还有其他一些沙滩运动项目，如每四年举行一次的亚洲沙滩运动会、南美沙滩运动会和非洲沙滩运动会。
