English: Title: The theatre building at Adams State University, founded in 1921 as a "normal school" (or teachers' college) in Alamosa, Colorado

Notes: Contrary to the assumptions of several observers and visitors, the university is not named either of the Adamses who served as U.S. presidents. It's named for Billy Adams, a Colorado legislator who would become a three-term governor of Colorado, and who worked to establish the school.; Purchase; Carol M.
