Monroe Township is one of the twenty-seven townships of Ashtabula County, 俄亥俄州, 美国. The 2010 census found 2,381 people in the township.[3]

Located on the northeastern edge of the county, it borders the following townships and city:
- Conneaut - 北
- Conneaut Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania - 北east
- Beaver Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania - 东南
- Pierpont Township - 南
- Denmark Township - 南west corner
- Sheffield Township - 西
- Kingsville Township - 北west
No municipalities are located in Monroe Township.
Name and history[编辑]
It is one of twenty-two Monroe Townships statewide.[4]
The first settler in Monroe Township was Stephen Moulton, who arrived from New York in 1799.[5]
政府[编辑]
镇区有3人组成的理事会管理。理事会理事选举在奇数年11月举行，并在来年1月1日开始四年任期。两名理事的选举在总统选举后一年举行，另一名的选举在总统选举前一年举行。镇区财务官亦由选举产生[6]，与一名镇区理事选举同时举行，不过在来年4月1日才开始四年任期。若财务官或理事职位有空缺，将由剩余理事填补。 Currently, the members of the board are John Griggs, Harry Osburn, and Charles Riley.[5]
