Newcastle Township is one of the twenty-two townships of Coshocton County, 俄亥俄州, 美国. As of the 2010 census the population was 475.[3]

Located in the far western part of the county, 与以下镇区接壤:
- Tiverton Township - 北
- Monroe Township - 北east corner
- Jefferson Township - 东
- Bedford Township - 东南 corner
- Perry Township - 南
- Jackson Township, Knox County - 南west corner
- Butler Township, Knox County - 西
- Union Township, Knox County - 北west corner
No municipalities are located in Newcastle Township, although the unincorporated communities of Walhonding and Newcastle lie in the northern and southwestern parts of the township respectively.
Name and history[编辑]
It is the only Newcastle Township statewide.[4]
Newcastle Township was organized in 1811.[5] Newcastle Township, also historically spelled New Castle, was named after New Castle, Delaware.[6]

镇区有3人组成的理事会管理。理事会理事选举在奇数年11月举行,并在来年1月1日开始四年任期。两名理事的选举在总统选举后一年举行,另一名的选举在总统选举前一年举行。镇区财务官亦由选举产生[7],与一名镇区理事选举同时举行,不过在来年4月1日才开始四年任期。若财务官或理事职位有空缺,将由剩余理事填补。
