Newcastle Township is one of the twenty-two townships of Coshocton County, 俄亥俄州, 美國. As of the 2010 census the population was 475.[3]

Located in the far western part of the county, 與以下鎮區接壤:
- Tiverton Township - 北
- Monroe Township - 北east corner
- Jefferson Township - 東
- Bedford Township - 東南 corner
- Perry Township - 南
- Jackson Township, Knox County - 南west corner
- Butler Township, Knox County - 西
- Union Township, Knox County - 北west corner
No municipalities are located in Newcastle Township, although the unincorporated communities of Walhonding and Newcastle lie in the northern and southwestern parts of the township respectively.
Name and history[編輯]
It is the only Newcastle Township statewide.[4]
Newcastle Township was organized in 1811.[5] Newcastle Township, also historically spelled New Castle, was named after New Castle, Delaware.[6]
政府[編輯]
鎮區有3人組成的理事會管理。理事會理事選舉在奇數年11月舉行,並在來年1月1日開始四年任期。兩名理事的選舉在總統選舉後一年舉行,另一名的選舉在總統選舉前一年舉行。鎮區財務官亦由選舉產生[7],與一名鎮區理事選舉同時舉行,不過在來年4月1日才開始四年任期。若財務官或理事職位有空缺,將由剩餘理事填補。
