2016年9月4日，红雀拉上凯利，[1]并让他在隔日登上大联盟。他在大联盟首打席就敲出二垒安打，并跑回球队第一分。[2][3]该年他出赛10场比赛，打击率为1成54。球季结束后，红雀将他送往亚利桑那联盟。他在那里缴出2成86的打击率，[4]一举拿下年度最佳小联盟球员。[5]
