西洋椴（Tilia × europaea）是小叶椴和阔叶椴之间天然杂交形成的一种植物[1]，主要分布在欧洲。西洋椴的种植范围十分广泛，且容易通过分株繁殖，是常见的行道树。在瑞典斯德哥尔摩有一株种植于1618年，存活了381年，在1999年被风暴吹倒的西洋椴[2]。
