GD 362是一颗距离地球约150光年的白矮星，位于武仙座[4]。
研究[编辑]
2004年对GD 362的光谱观测显示和其他白矮星相较，有相对较丰富的金属存在于它的大气层中。因为白矮星的强大重力场可以使重元素快速移动到大气层底部，这代表它的大气曾被外来的金属来源污染[3]。2005年红外线测光观测结果显示有一个体积相当于土星环的尘埃环存在于该白矮星周围，解释了大气层金属污染来源[7]。
2006年时班杰明·朱克曼、麦可·朱拉等天文学家使用凯克望远镜获得了GD 362的高解析度电磁波谱影像，发现大气层内的重元素聚集模式类似地球－月球系统[5]。该团队的结论认为GD 362的尘埃环和大气层污染是因为一颗直径约200公里的岩石小行星在10万到100万年前因为潮汐力而被粉碎。如果是这样的话，光谱将会显示这颗小行星的成分将类似地球的地壳，并显示它在形成红巨星以前周围有一颗类地球行星存在[4][5][8]。
GD 362大约在9亿年成为白矮星[9]。
