楊強（1961年—），北京人，中國人工智能科學家，香港科技大學計算機科學與工程學系主任、講席教授[1]，大學新明工程學教授[2]、大數據研究所主任[3]。兼任深圳大學計算機與軟件學院特約教授、博士生導師[4]。
生平[編輯]
1985年於馬里蘭大學天體物理專業獲得碩士學位。1987年於馬里蘭大學計算機系獲得碩士學位。1989年馬里蘭大學計算機系獲得博士學位[5]。
2012年，在香港成立華為諾亞方舟實驗室並擔任首席主任。[6]
2014年，任香港科技大學新明工程學講座教授。[7]2015年，任香港科技大學計算機與工程學系主任。 [8]
2015年, 創建IEEE刊物 Transactions on Big Data（IEEE TBD）任首屆主編。[9]2015年，創建「微信－香港科技大學人工智能聯合實驗室」 （WeChat-HKUST Joint AI Technology Lab, WHAT LAB）。
2016年，在香港科技大學創建大數據研究所。[3]
2018年，出任微眾銀行首席人工智能官（CAIO）。[10]同年創立香港人工智能與機器人學會，任理事長。
2019年, 與香港創新及科技局合作，籌劃建設香港智慧城市以及香港國際數據港項目。[11]
