Mistral AI 由Arthur Mensch、Guillaume Lample 和 Timothée Lacroix於 2023 年 4 月共同創立，創始團隊大多是谷歌和Meta的前員工。2023 年 12 月籌集3.85億歐元資金後，該公司估值近20億歐元，Mistral大模型成為歐洲主要的生成式人工智能產品。^[1]^[2]^[3]
