形態[編輯]

翅膀黃色，前翅外緣寬燃帶內嵌黃色短條斑列，中室端及中室內有6條黑橫帶，中室後方有2條黑橫帶。後翅外緣邊鋸齒狀．尾突短，外緣黑帶外方嵌有黃色新月形斑，內嵌藍斑，裏側為新月紅斑列和細的黑色短線列。近臀角的黑色圓斑內嵌藍點，後緣具寬黑帶。^[5]

1年1代，成蟲多見於3至5月。幼蟲以有毒性的馬兜鈴科細辛屬（Asarum）植物為寄主，包括杜衡（A. forbesii）和細辛（A. sieboldii）。^[6]^[7]

L. c. chinensis 指名亞種，分佈於江蘇、湖北^[5]
L. c. leei Chou, 1994 李氏亞種，分佈於河南、陝西^[5]
- =L. c. huashanensis 華山亞種為未正式發表的無效命名^[5]
