《墮落的偶像》（英語：The Fallen Idol）是卡羅爾·里德1948年執導的電影。該片獲英國電影學院獎最佳影片獎，也獲得奧斯卡最佳導演提名和最佳改編劇本提名。
劇情
[編輯]菲利普是外交官的兒子，長期被託管在賓斯的家裏，與賓斯成為好友。賓斯與一個年輕姑娘發生婚外戀，他向菲利普描述說她是他的侄女。賓斯太太謊稱去娘家，實際上監視賓斯。她在夜裏突然回來想要捉姦，與賓斯激烈爭吵，一時失足從平台上跌落摔死。菲利普從窗外看到賓斯太太落地，誤以為是賓斯推了他。等偵探來到他家，菲利普想要維護賓斯，沒想到卻越描越黑。最後終於在平台上發現了賓斯太太的足印，搞清了真相。
