肛門清潔
肛門衛生[1]又稱肛門清潔[2]、擦屁股[3]、洗屁股[4]，是指人們在排便後以及洗澡時清洗肛門，並保持肛門衛生。由於社會禁忌的緣故，學術圈很少討論排便後的肛門清潔措施。[2]排便後的清潔措施包括用水沖洗肛門和臀部，或者用乾燥的衛生紙、草紙擦拭肛門，將糞便抹去。人們在用水清洗肛門時一般要用手親自擦拭肛門。而有些坐便器也可以用加壓的水沖洗肛門[2]。
歷史[編輯]
古希臘人使用陶瓷碎片來清潔肛門[5]。羅馬人則用包有海綿的棍子清潔肛門[6]。古代日本人用廁籌清潔肛門。
據說公元前2世紀的中國人已有人使用衛生紙清潔肛門。[1]1857年，紐約企業家約瑟夫·蓋耶蒂（Joseph Gayetty）發明了一種可用來清潔肛門的衛生紙。[7]
