sic

sic（sīc，為sic erat scriptum的縮略語，即「原文是這麼寫的」^[1]）是一個從拉丁語衍生出的詞彙，它在拉丁語中原意為「所以、這樣、就像那樣」。在英語中，sic 用於表示引用的句子中不正確或不常用的拼寫、短語或標點用法是原文就有，而非引述者誤植，中文一般譯為「原文如此」^[2]。書寫時使用方括號包含，即「[sic]」，一些特定國家（如美國）則會特別規定以斜體書寫，成為「 [sic] 」的形式。該詞的拉丁語原讀音類似於英文的 seek（IPA /'sik/），中間為長元音（sīc）；不過在英語中，這個詞一般讀作 /'sɪk/，類似英文 sick 一詞。

（這裏的 "chuse" 同 "choose"，不過為舊時用法，現已很少使用。）

（這裏的 "styley" 和 "it's" 為錯誤用詞，應為 "stylish" 和 "its"。）
