巴姆巴薩叛亂
巴姆巴薩叛亂是1906年納塔爾殖民地祖魯族一位酋長巴姆巴薩領導的反英暴動。
當時納塔爾殖民地當局向每位殖民地居民徵收1英鎊的人頭稅。[1]納塔爾殖民地當局又懷疑巴姆巴薩不滿稅收政策，於是傳喚巴姆巴薩。巴姆巴薩擔心自己被捕，於是逃亡。納塔爾殖民地當局於是不再承認巴姆巴薩的酋長地位。 [2]巴姆巴薩又召集自己的支持者，並且對英國殖民當局發動游擊戰。 [1]英國當局迅速派兵鎮壓。 [1]巴姆巴薩最終在衝突中陣亡。 [3]
此次暴動共造成3,000至4,000名祖魯人被殺。超過7,000人被監禁，4,000人被鞭打。[4]
