阿勃參（學名：Commiphora gileadensis）是橄欖科沒藥樹屬灌木，原產阿拉伯半島與東非。[1]其樹脂可能是西方古籍記載的基列香脂（英語：Balm of Gilead）、麥加香膏（英語：Mecca balsam）。[2]
詞源[編輯]
《酉陽雜俎》記載：「阿勃參，出拂林國。長一丈餘，皮色青白。葉細，兩兩相對。花似蔓菁，正黃。子似胡椒，赤色。斫其枝，汁如油，以塗疥癬，無不瘥者。其油極貴，價重於金。」據勞費爾考證，阿勃參一名很可能來自阿拉姆語單詞afursama，與英語單詞balsam同源。[3]
