2022年5月14日美國紐約州水牛城一家Tops Friendly Markets超市發生大規模槍擊事件，造成十人喪生，三人受傷。[3][4]槍手在射擊時還用Twitch對現場進行直播，後來該槍擊犯被拘留。[5]他在案發前曾表示自己是一位白人優越主義者。

槍擊[編輯]

美國東部時間下午2:30左右，槍手佩頓·金德倫來到水牛城的一家Tops Friendly Markets，超市所在地是一個以非裔美國人為主的社區。[6]當時槍手身穿防彈衣和軍用級頭盔，並攜帶一個頭戴式攝影機（英語：Body camera），並且用Twitch進行現場直播。 [3][1]

他首先在停車場朝4人開槍，其中3人死亡。然後他走進商店，Tops Friendly Markets的保安員、前水牛城警察局（英語：Buffalo Police Department）警察亞倫·索爾特（Aaron Salter）發現有異樣後向槍手開槍。 [7]由於槍手身上穿有厚重的防彈衣，所以槍手並未受到多大傷害，反而索爾特被槍手當場打死。後來槍手舉槍於自己脖子試圖自盡，在警方勸說下投降。[8][9][1]

案發當地的聯邦調查局負責人斯蒂芬·貝隆吉亞（Stephen Belongia）告訴記者，這起槍擊事件既是仇恨犯罪事件也是出於種族主義動機的暴力極端主義案件。 [11]

兇手[編輯]

槍手名叫佩頓·S·金德倫（Payton S. Gendron）， [2]是一名18歲的白人男性。警方說他來自康克林。[1]金德倫曾就讀於紐約賓漢頓的紐約州立大學布魯姆縣社區學院（英語：SUNY Broome Community College）。[13]

金德倫在槍擊案發前發表了一篇文章，主要涉及外來移民的話題，他認為白人的出生率會降低並且還會遭到種族滅絕。[14][2]他在文章中還表示支持迪倫·魯夫以及基督城清真寺槍擊案。[2][15]他還表示：「水牛城當地郵政編碼為14208的地方黑人比例最高，而且離我住的地方也挺近。」 [15]

司法流程[編輯]

槍擊案發生當天，兇手被傳訊（英語：Arraignment）至紐約州法院水牛城市法院。金德倫對一級謀殺的指控提出了無罪抗辯（英語：Plea）。兇手此後被關押並且不得保釋。[16][2]同一天美國司法部證實，美國司法部長梅域·加蘭聽取了槍擊事件的簡報，司法部正在將槍擊事件作為仇恨犯罪進行調查。國土安全部部長亞歷杭德羅·馬約爾卡斯也於當天晚上8點30分聽取了槍擊案的簡報[17]。

5月19日，大評審團宣佈指控金德倫一級謀殺罪，相關指控已提前一天提交[18]。當天金德倫短暫出庭，後續審判則定於6月9日進行[19]。6月1日，大評審團向金德倫發出25項指控[20]，包括1項以仇恨為動機在國內製造恐怖活動罪、10項以仇恨犯罪引發的一級謀殺罪、10項以仇恨犯罪引發的二級謀殺罪、3項以仇恨犯罪引發的二級謀殺未遂罪和1項非法持有武器二級罪[21]。6月2日在伊利縣法院受審，金德倫都上述罪名均表示不認罪[22][23]。

11月，金德倫坦承犯案動機出於種族仇恨和國內恐怖主義。12月，金德倫律師表示金德倫將在庭審認罪，以避免被判死刑。金德倫表示自己在網絡上接觸到種族仇恨思想，他還在法庭內情緒激動落淚，向受害家屬致歉。2023年2月，金德倫被法院判處無期徒刑、不得假釋。法官還斥責他「在一個文明的社會裏，絕不能容下任何種族主義和仇恨的意識形態，你將再沒有第二次機會，你將再也不能以自由人的身分重見天日」。[24]

總統喬·拜登和他的妻子吉爾·拜登向受害者及其家人祈禱。[25]州長凱西·霍赫爾、眾議員布萊恩·希金斯、紐約州總檢察長詹樂霞等人譴責了槍擊事件。[26][27][28]伊利縣警長辦公室在推特上向所有遇難者及其家屬表示哀悼。 [25]

槍擊事件發生後不久，Twitch發表聲明，承認槍手的確使用該公司的服務直播槍擊事件，而且兇手的帳戶已「無限期封禁」。Twitch對受害者表示同情，並表示該公司聽到槍擊事件後感到非常震驚。 [29][2]
