柯蒂斯·查尔斯·埃贝斯迈尔（英语：Curtis Charles Ebbesmeyer，1943年4月24日—）出生于美国加利福尼亚州洛杉矶，已退休的美国海洋学家，以研究海洋中的漂浮物闻名。因为研究在1992年从货柜轮落入北太平洋中的沐浴用橡皮鸭的流向（“友好漂浮物”）而受到大众的注意。

埃贝斯迈尔于1943年4月24日出生于美国加利福尼亚州洛杉矶，1973年取得华盛顿大学海洋学博士学位，其研究是以追踪漂浮物并标记其落海地点研究洋流。埃贝斯迈尔开始此类研究后，其职业发展就有了改变。1990年5月，一艘货轮“汉撒船运号（英语：Hansa Carrier）”（Hansa Carrier）从韩国驶向洛杉矶途中，船上载运的80,000只耐克运动鞋落入海中。埃贝斯迈尔的母亲得知这消息后，问他是否可以做些研究，而他则说，这些从落海地点被冲上俄勒冈州和华盛顿州海岸的球鞋让他看到了研究洋流的机会。

另外，1999年他发表了一篇文章，内容则是他在华盛顿大学海洋学院的朋友理查德·斯特里克兰（Richard Strickland （页面存档备份，存于互联网档案馆））在1989年发现的一个瓶子；在1991年打开时发现瓶身有“台湾省烟酒公卖局”中文字样，瓶内以中文书写的文件则是声援中国大陆知名异议人士魏京生的传单。经由他和他的团队计算后认为，这些瓶子是在1980年在太平洋另一侧的台湾投入海中的。

埃贝斯迈尔和许多海滩拾荒者取得联系，并建立了一个可快速通报冲上海滩的物品种类的网络。他还使用朋友吉姆·英格拉哈姆（Jim Ingraham）发展的计算机程序 OSCURS（Ocean Surface Currents Simulation，表层洋流模拟程式）模拟各种飘浮物的流向，其中包含了1994年从货轮“现代西雅图号”（Hyundai Seattle）落入海中的34,000只曲棍球手套。在此之前，埃贝斯迈尔主要是预测油污和污水的流向。

1996年，埃贝斯迈尔建立了非营利组织“海滩拾荒情报网”（Beachcombers' and Oceanographers' International Association），并出版刊物《海滩拾荒人快报》（Beachcombers' Alert）。

1999年，埃贝斯迈尔和海洋学家查尔斯·穆尔（Charles Moore）发表论文指出，在北太平洋副热带环流中，塑胶废弃物和浮游动物的比例是6:1，会对食物链底层的生物造成严重伤害。

退休之后，埃贝斯迈尔仍然和位于西雅图的埃文斯－汉密尔顿公司（Evans-Hamilton, Inc. （页面存档备份，存于互联网档案馆））合作；该公司是提供物理海洋学服务、气候研究、海洋与淡水设备应用的海洋学顾问公司 。

埃贝斯迈尔和家人现定居于西雅图。
