西蒙·艾德华·普尔西斐（英语：Simon Edward Pulsifer，1981年9月11日—），出生于加拿大新斯科细亚首府哈里法斯，是英语维基百科的贡献者。whose prolific participation made him a subject of human interest stories in the media beginning in 2005.
生平简介
[编辑]普尔西斐在加拿大安大略省渥太华成长。他从幼稚园到6年级曾参加法语融入课程。依据他后来的回忆，在此阶段他不曾积极参与运动课程。[1] 2000年1月，他毕业于利斯嘎高等学校，并且到多伦多大学维多利亚书院研修历史。[2] 普尔西斐在2001年12月从纽约时代杂志得知维基百科，并于2002年用SimonP这个用户名注册成为英语维基百科积极的贡献者。[3]因为他被指定为维基百科的主编群[4]，在他念大学时曾说过要每天至少六小时编辑和建立维基百科条目。[5] [6] 普尔西斐在以下说明了他为维基百科贡献的目的：[7]

目前他居住在多伦多，[3][1]曾住在渥太华很多年。他曾在两个城市的政治人物竞选团队下工作过：保罗·狄瓦（渥太华中心选区）[1] 、邹至蕙（特里尼提斯佩狄那选区）[1]，而且最近担任渥太华市长候选人阿列克斯·慕恩特的电脑系统管理人员。
他的父亲为卡麦隆博士[1]，任职加拿大战争博物馆研究与展览部门的特别企划[9]。他的母亲戴安娜·佩帕尔，目前在渥太华公立图书馆工作，是一名采购发展服务的管理人员[1]。
