林蚺属（学名：Tropidophis）是蛇亚目林蚺科下的一个属，主要包括分布于加勒比地区及南美洲的无毒林蚺。目前共有17个品种已被确认。[2][3]
特征[编辑]
成年的林蚺约长30至60公分，牠们的生活习性相当隐蔽，主要为陆行蛇并栖身于热带雨林、灌木丛、松树林一类的地理环境，有时亦会接近民居。另外，林蚺有一种奇特的自卫方式，就是从眼、口、鼻中排出血液，以让对手错愕。
虽然林蚺是同科蛇类中相对地短小及神秘的蛇类，但牠们很容易受到外在环境所影响，甚至继而灭绝。如纳弗沙岛林蚺（Tropidophis bucculentus）就已经有百多年未曾出现踪影，因而被猜测可能已经遭到灭绝。
