格里奥
格里奥（/ˈɡriːoʊ/；法语：[ɡʁi.o]；曼丁语：jali（西非书面字母：ߖߋߟߌ[1]）；塞雷尔语：kevel[2][3]；沃洛夫语：gewel）是西非地区对身兼历史学者、说书人、吟颂歌手、诗人与音乐家的总称。由于格里奥们精通以口述传统的方式说唱历史故事，因此往往被视作吟游诗人。此外在古代时期，部分的格里奥还会进入宫廷内，担任王室的顾问等重要职务。
