Nothing，全称Nothing科技有限公司（英语：Nothing Technology Limited），是一间位于英国伦敦的消费性电子科技公司，在2020年10月由曾经创立一加的企业家裴宇所创立[1]。该公司自创立以来，已经获得许多知名人物的投资，包括iPod的发明人托尼·法戴尔、Twitch共同创办人林凯文、Reddit执行长史蒂夫·霍夫曼以及YouTuber凯西·奈斯塔特等[2]。2021年2月25日，Nothing宣布瑞典科技公司Teenage Engineering将成为创始伙伴，负责未来Nothing的视觉与产品设计。

It was founded by Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus. The company has gathered a number of well known investors, such as iPod inventor Tony Fadell, Twitch co-founder Kevin Lin, Reddit CEO Steve Huffman, and YouTuber Casey Neistat.[3] On February 25, 2021, the company announced Teenage Engineering as founding partners, mainly responsible for the brand's design aesthetic and its products. Nothing's first product "ear (1)" was launched on July 27, 2021.

In 2020, Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus, was working with the company alongside Pete Lau. Pei announced his resignation on October 16, 2020, so that he could start a new venture.[4] Pei later raised up to $7 million from multiple investors to start up his venture including iPod inventor Tony Fadell, Twitch co-founder Kevin Lin, Reddit CEO Steve Huffman, and YouTuber Casey Neistat.[5]

Pei announced the company, Nothing, on January 27, 2021.[6]

On February 15, 2021, Nothing acquired the Essential Products trademarks and brand nearly a year after the company shut down operations.[7][8]

On February 25, 2021, the company announced its first founding partner, Teenage Engineering, to produce the design aesthetic of the brand and its products.[9]

Nothing announced its first product on July 27, 2021, named the "ear (1)", which are wireless headphones.[10]

On October 13, 2021, the company raised up to $50 million and also announced a partnership with Qualcomm.[11]

On March 9, 2022, the same day that Nothing secured Series B financing, the company announced that it would hold a press conference on March 23.[12][13] During that event, the company announced its first smartphone, the "phone (1)".[14][15]

The Nothing Ear 1, stylised as the "ear (1)", is Nothing's first product. Announced on July 27, 2021, the Ear 1 is a set of wireless earbuds. The earbuds can be connected by Bluetooth and have up to 34 hours of battery life when used with the charging case, and up to 5.7 hours of battery life with ANC off; with 24 hours with the case used and up to four hours for the earbuds themselves with ANC on. The earbuds went on sale on August 17, 2021, at $99/£99/€99.[16][17]

A Black version was also announced on December 6, 2021, and went on sale on December 13. Nothing also announced on that day that the Ear 1 earbuds are now carbon neutral.[18]

On March 23, 2022, Nothing announced its first smartphone named the "Phone (1)".[19] And First time worldwide market launched on 12 July 2022 on Flipkart and Amazon.[来源请求] The phone will run on an Android-based operating system named Nothing OS with an anticipated release date of Summer 2022.[19]

Nothing will release Nothing OS, which unlike the name suggests is not an operating system but a custom skin on top of Android, on their upcoming Nothing Phone 1.[14][15]

In June 2022, Nothing opened an invite-only pre order for the "Phone (1)", which reached up to 100,000 registrations on the waiting list.[20] The device, which is set to be unveiled on July 12 in London, will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ chipset and transparent design.[21]
