伍法岳

伍法岳（1932年1月5日—2020年1月21日）美籍華裔理論與數學物理學家、數學家，從事統計力學和組合數學方面的研究。

生平[編輯]

伍法岳之父伍家宥

1932年出生於湖南長沙，父親為中華民國首屆立法委員伍家宥。抗日戰爭期間隨父前往重慶，戰後返回南京，1949年全家前往台灣，入左營海軍士兵學校，1959年獲國立清華大學碩士學位，1963年獲聖路易斯華盛頓大學博士學位，1967年在美國東北大學擔任教授。[1][2]
