史特夫·庫珀（英語：Steve Cooper，1979年12月10日—），是威爾斯已退役足球員，目前擔任足球教練。

庫珀的執教生涯開始於威爾斯聯賽球隊雷克斯漢姆。2008年，他加入利物浦，並在2011年被任命為青年隊主帥。2014年，庫珀加入英格蘭青年隊，率領英格蘭U-17隊奪得2017年國際足總U-17世界盃冠軍。2019年至2021年，出任斯旺西城總教練。

庫珀出生於威爾斯龐特普里斯[1]，是前威爾斯足球裁判凱斯·庫珀的兒子[2]。年少時，庫珀在威爾斯低級別聯賽效力，是一名利物浦的支持者[2][3]。

20世紀90年代末，庫珀加盟雷克斯漢姆，但從未有出場紀錄。隨後他先後效力過萊爾、班戈城、新聖徒以及波特馬多克[4]。2002年，他曾代表班戈城出戰球隊對陣斯梅德拉沃的歐聯盃比賽[5]。庫珀在踢球的同時亦參加教練課程，並在雷克斯漢姆青年隊兼職執教[6]。庫珀於27歲取得歐足總職業級教練證書，是獲得該證書的最年輕的教練之一[7][8] 。

2014年10月13日，庫珀出任英格蘭U-16隊總教練[8] ，次年接手英格蘭U-17隊 ，當時隊內有桑喬、福登、哈德森-奧多伊等球員[13]。庫珀率領球隊闖入2017年歐洲U-17足球錦標賽決賽，最終在PK大戰中1-4負於西班牙[15]，不過在同年的國際足總U-17世界盃中，英格蘭U-17隊在準決賽和決賽中分別以3-1和5-2的比數擊敗巴西和西班牙奪冠[16][17]。 2018年，庫珀率領英格蘭U-17隊闖入2018年歐洲U-17足球錦標賽準決賽，最終十二碼負於荷蘭出局[18]。在2019年歐洲U-17足球錦標賽中，英格蘭U-17隊未能進入4強[19]。

斯旺西城[編輯]

2019年6月13日，庫珀與英冠聯賽球隊斯旺西城簽下3年合約[20]。在他執教的首場正式比賽中，斯旺西城憑藉博爾雅·巴斯顿和范德霍倫的進球在自由球場2-1擊敗赫爾城[21]。在庫珀的率領下，斯旺西城在8月保持不敗，6場聯賽獲得16分位居榜首，創造球隊41年以來最佳開局[22]，庫珀本人亦當選英冠聯賽8月最佳總教練[23]。

在隨後的冬季轉會窗中，庫珀分別從切爾西和利物浦租借來布斯達、格伊和加拉格爾，這些球員都是其在英格蘭U-17隊執教時的隊員[24]。至英冠聯賽因2019新型冠狀病毒疫情停擺時，斯旺西城位居聯賽第11名，距離升級附加賽區3分[25]。在2019-20球季英冠聯賽收官戰中，斯旺西4-1擊敗雷丁，憑藉淨球數優勢力壓諾丁漢森林位居第6，闖入升級附加賽區[26]。斯旺西在升級附加賽準決賽中以總比數2-3負於布蘭特福德[27]。

庫珀認為前巴塞隆納B隊教練何塞·賽古拉對其執教產生重大影響，兩人曾在利物浦有過合作[29] 。在陣型方面，庫珀喜愛4-2-3-1陣型，設置2名組織型中場和2名進攻性邊後衛[31]。2019-20球季從COVID-19疫情複賽後，庫珀開始使用3中衛體系。[32]
