Mallsoft （也稱為 mallwave ）是一種以復古商業中心為主題的蒸汽波子流派。 [1]

它通常基於沙發音樂，讓人聯想到早期購物中心，商業街和其他公共商業場所的氛圍。 [2]，對於那些沒有親身體驗過的人來說，產生一種消費主義和企業資本主義的情懷[3]。 Mallsoft 通過輕音樂、波薩諾瓦舞曲和柔順爵士等類型的音樂，用音樂的方式讓沒有經歷過這些體驗的人們產生一種懷舊情節 。 [4]聽眾的大部分樂趣來自於懷舊和獨屬於自己的「往事與故人」。 [5]
有些作者只是把已有的20世紀80年代的流行歌曲拿出來，放慢速度，加上混響，讓它聽起來像是死寂商場傳來的音樂一樣。[6]
