極光滑跖蟾（學名：Leiopelma auroraensis），為滑跖蟾屬的一個種，是在紐西蘭發現的一種已滅絕的青蛙。^[1]在紐西蘭菲奧德蘭的極光洞中發現了該蛙的一塊亞化石。從口鼻部到排氣口的距離約為60毫米。它因其發現地極光洞而得名。^[3]同樣發現於紐西蘭的其他已滅絕同屬青蛙分別是馬氏滑跖蟾和懷托摩滑跖蟾。^[4]^[5]極光蛙可能是從分布更廣泛的馬卡姆滑跖蟾進化而來的。^[4]
