棘螈屬（學名：Echinotriton）是有尾目蠑螈科的一屬，分布在東亞地區。目前本屬僅確定3種。[1]
特徵[編輯]
棘螈物種頭軀明顯寬扁，無唇褶，舌呈亞卵圓形，前後粘連。尾細弱而短，明顯短於頭體長，末端呈杆狀。犁骨齒列呈「∧」形，前額骨2枚甚短。鼻突短，鼻骨大，左右相觸。額鱗弧粗壯，方骨及翼骨與上頜骨相接觸面大而牢固。最主要的屬征是方骨後外側有1個向前彎曲的鉤狀突；前若干枚肋骨各有1個強大之肋突，成分叉狀，末端刺入瘰疣中或突出皮膚。成體營陸棲生活，幼體在靜水中生活，有1對平衡枝，當年完成變態。[2]
