留尼旺艷織雀（學名：Foudia delloni）又名德氏艷織雀，是馬斯克林群島中的留尼旺特有及滅絕的一種雀。
描述[編輯]
留尼旺艷織雀的體型與家麻雀相當。雄性的頭、頸、喉和下翼部在繁殖期呈鮮紅色，背部和尾部呈棕色，腹部呈灰白色。雌性和雄性雛鳥的頭部呈棕色，頸部和紅色，喉部呈淡棕色。[2]
目前對留尼旺艷織雀的棲息地與習性所知甚少。[1]
歷史[編輯]
留尼旺艷織雀現時沒有任何已知的標本，它們僅在法國旅行者希爾·迪布瓦（Sieur Dubois）於1674年和旅行者加百利·德隆（Gabriel Dellon）於1685年作出的兩份報告中被提及。在2008年，安東尼·契克和英國古生物學家朱利安·彭德·休姆（Julian Pender Hume）在出版的書籍《Lost Land of the Dodo》中將它們描述為一種新物種。[2]
根據當時的描述，留尼旺艷織雀的數量曾非常豐富且因為破壞當地作物被認為是有害生物，但在1674年後不久它們便滅絕了，其原因可能是老鼠的入侵和過度捕食。[1]
