- 亨利·格拉瑪特斯在維也納出版Ayn neu Kunstlich Buech，在計算上最先使用印刷的加號與減號[2]他也出版Libellus de compositione regularum pro vasorum mensuratione. Deque arte ista tota theoreticae et practicae，發明新律學[3]。
- 亞當·里斯出版Rechnung auff der linihen，講述如何使用計算板（一種二維算盤）來計算[1]。
