居里克环形山(Guericke)是月球正面位于云海北部的一座古老大[[撞击坑|陨坑]残迹,约形成于45.5-39.2亿年前的前酒海纪[2],其名称取自德国物理学家暨工程师、哲学家"奥托·冯·居里克"(Otto von Guericke,1602年-1686年),1935年被国际天文学联合会批准接受。
描述
该陨坑西北偏北靠近托兰斯基陨石坑(Tolansky)、邦普朗环形山(Bonpland)及帕里陨石坑(Parry)、东侧毗邻昆特陨石坑(Kundt)、而奥佩尔特陨石坑则位于它的西南。居里克环形山西侧坐落了知海、西北绵延着帕里月溪(Rimae Parry)和盖塔山脊、西南延伸着奥佩尔特月溪(Rimae Opelt),而居里克环形山和昆特陨石坑之间则坐落了一组相连的三环坑。[3]。该陨坑中心月面坐标为11°34′S 14°11′W / 11.57°S 14.19°W,直径60.8公里[4],深度0.74公里[5]。
居里克环形山残存的边缘已磨损、破碎且部分被覆盖坑底的熔岩淹没,陨坑壁现已成为一圈断裂的山脊,北侧、西北和南面与周边隆起地形相连。南侧坑壁上的一处峪口,连接了一道群山环抱的山谷,蜿蜒延伸止卫星坑"居里克 B"。该环形山坑壁平均高出周边地形1230米[2],内部容积约3400公里3[2]。坑内地表相对平坦,散布有一些小山丘和众多细小的陨坑,靠西南坐落了醒目的卫星坑"居里克 D"和"居里克 H",一条沟壑从北侧内壁向南延伸至坑底。
