短尾鹦哥（学名：Graydidascalus brachyurus），是鹦鹉目金刚鹦鹉科短尾鹦哥属下唯一一种鸟类。[3]该物种分布于亚马孙河及其支流沿岸，包含哥伦比亚南部、厄瓜多尔东北部和秘鲁东北部到亚马孙河河口，目前被评为无危物种。[4]
短尾鹦哥生活于森林环境中，为植食性。[5]其体重平均约159.0克，鸟喙宽平均15.4毫米、深平均24.9毫米、嘴峰长平均约31.4毫米；翼长平均约137.8毫米；跗跖约15.7毫米；尾长约50.8毫米。[5]
