阿格尼絲·瑪麗·克勒克（英語：Agnes Mary Clerke，1842年2月10日—1907年1月20日）是一位女天文學家及天文領域作家，出生於愛爾蘭科克郡斯基伯林鎮，在倫敦去世[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]。
家庭[編輯]
阿格尼絲·克勒克的父親約翰·威廉·克勒克（1814年-1890年）是斯基伯林一名銀行經理[8]，母親嘉芙蓮·瑪麗·迪齊(約出生於1819年)為當地司法常務官的女兒[9][10]。阿格尼絲·克勒克姐弟共三人，姐姐埃倫·瑪麗·克勒克出生於1840年，弟弟奧布里·聖約翰出生於1843年[11]，三人全都是在家裏接受的教育[11]。
生活和事業[編輯]
按照父親的安排，克勒克在學習傳統學科的同時，也學習天文課程-她從小就對天文學產生了興趣，曾用父親的望遠鏡進行天文觀察，並在15歲時就開始記錄天文觀察筆記[8]。1861年在她18歲時，全家搬到都柏林，1863年又轉至皇后鎮。25歲時，曾因她和姐姐埃倫二人的健康原因[12]去了意大利，並一直在那呆到1877年，主要在佛羅倫薩學習科學、語言和其它一些對日後有用的學科,1877年在倫敦定居[8]。
回國後，她在1877年10月的《愛丁堡評論》上發表了二篇在意大利所寫的文章：《西西里島的搶劫》和《在意大利的哥白尼》，這引起了亞當和查爾斯·布拉克公司-雜誌出版商(曾出版過《大英百科全書》)的注意，並聘請她為第九版《大英百科全書》專門撰寫一系列著名科學家的傳記[13]。該項工作也使她得到另外的一些聘用，如為《天主教百科全書》撰寫有關天文方面的文章[8]。在她一生的職業生涯中，曾寫下過許多包括法文、德語、希臘語和意大利語在內的書刊評論[14]。

克勒克並不是一名從事實際研究的天文學家，而是整理、解釋和總結開方研究結果，1888年，她受台長大衛·吉爾爵士和他妻子邀請，在南非天文台作客三個月，充分掌握了天體光譜學知識，從而使她能夠清晰地了解這門新的科學分支。
1892年她被大不列顛皇家學會授予100畿尼的阿克頓獎（Actonian Prize） ，並作為英國天文協會成員出席定期會議及英國皇家天文學會會議。1903年，她與哈金斯夫人一道被選為英國皇家天文學會名譽會員，以前僅只有二位女性曾獲得過這一資格：卡羅琳·赫歇爾和瑪麗·費爾法克斯·薩默維爾。
她的姐姐埃倫·瑪麗·克勒克(1840年-1906年)也撰寫過一些有關天文方面的著作。
2012年退休的天文學講師瑪麗·布魯克(Mary Brück)曾寫過一本有關她的書籍—《阿格尼絲·瑪麗·克勒克和天體物理學的興起》[16]。
