维基百科机器人

维基百科机器人是维护维基百科的网络机器人，著名例子有Lsjbot——该机器人在维基百科创建了数以百万计的条目^[1]。

维基百科机器人是一类在维基百科上运行的软件，用于协助编者执行简单而又繁琐的任务，像是修正常见错别字、格式，以外部数据创建格式大同小异的地理类条目^[2]^[3]^[4]。瑞典语维基百科的维基人斯韦克·约翰松（Sverker Johansson）则开发出每天可以创建约1万篇条目的机器人，不过此一举动备受争议^[5]。此外，也有机器人会在编者犯下常见的编辑错误时自动通知他们^[6]。英语维基百科的反破坏机器人ClueBot NG能够在短时间内侦测和回退破坏，但其仍有可能犯错；由于所有用户（包括机器人）在维基百科上的编辑皆可被追踪，故编者很容易修正机器人犯下的错误^[3]。于中文维基百科上运作的机器人需经过审核才可使用^[7]。

一篇于2017年发表的研究分析了2001至2010年的维基百科机器人活动，结果发现它们的编辑次数相当可观，但由于制作者之间欠缺协调，致使机器人互相还原的次数高于人类——这在跨语种编辑当中尤其明显。著者们相信这种情况已随着维基数据的投入使用而减少^[8]。

郦安治认为，若维基百科没有得到机器人维护，那么就难以想像它会怎样成长至拥有逾百万篇条目的在线百科全书^[9]。
