Littoraria irrorata为玉黍螺科之下的一個生活於北美洲大西洋海岸與墨西哥灣岸鹹水沼澤的物種，從麻省到德薩斯州皆有其踪影。舊屬中腹足目蝾螺属，今已重新分類為高腹足類支序（Hypsogastropoda）玉黍螺總科玉黍螺屬[1][2]。
本物種是少數已知會透過培殖真菌來為自己提供營養的軟體生物物種之一[3]。
