通识教育和博雅教育是两回事么？[编辑]

2006-08-07T07:10:22，水水把通識教育移动到博雅教育，并另立“通识教育”条目，他声称：“博雅教育（Liberal Art）和通識教育（General Education）是兩回事！！！”我怀疑他这种说法是否正确，英文维基百科并没有“general education”这一个词条，我也看不出有证据表明存在什么区别。请提供证据说明这两个概念确实是两回事。否则，应该合并两条目。--鸟甲 08:55 2006年9月24日 (UTC)

英文版本內的 "Liberal education" (通識教育) 指出了，通識教育不應與博雅教育相提並論，因為他倆之間有細微的差別。 "The term liberal education in the modern sense should not be confused with liberal arts education; the latter deals with academic subjects, while the former deals with ideological subjects. Indeed, a liberal arts education does not necessarily include a liberal education, and a liberal arts program may even be as specialized as a vocational program." 英文版的中古时代的四艺中不包括地理[编辑]
