輸入個參數後，可產生一個連往JSTOR（期刊存儲）文章的連結。當使用「引文格式1」模板時，在其中加入 |jstor= 參數亦可直接呼出本模板。

範例

當要引用一篇文章時，理想的方式是使用網址最後的數字編號（http://www.jstor.org/stable/3562296）。這串編號可在網站中「Item Information」的連結中找到。輸入：

將顯示 JSTOR 3562296。此外，也可以使用文章的SICI（Serial Item and Contribution Identifier），但SICI編號十分冗長彆扭。輸入：

{{JSTOR|sici=0093-0334(198907/08)19:4<C19:AALWAOT>2.0.CO;2-B}}

將顯示 JSTOR SICI 0093-0334(198907/08)19:4<C19:AALWAOT>2.0.CO;2-B。若要引用期刊本身，請使用ISSN（國際期刊標準號）。輸入：

將顯示 JSTOR ISSN 00930334。

在其他引用模板中使用

舉例來說，若要引用一份期刊中一篇關於费马大定理的文章，並提供連至JSTOR的連結時，可使用 {{cite journal}} 模板並輸入：
