望远镜座PV（也称为HD 168476）是位于望远镜座的一颗B-型（蓝色）极端氦星。它也是PV Tel变星的原型。这些可能是后渐近巨星分支恒星与弱氢线和强氦和碳线星。在2008年，确认的此种变星有12颗，周期从几小时到几年不等。有些研究者参照白矮星合并的模型来产生这种未必可能的变星[4]
