远距鳄（学名：Teleidosaurus）意为“完整的鳄鱼”，是种肉食性海生鳄类，属于地蜥鳄科[1]，生存于侏罗纪中期的巴柔阶到巴统阶，化石发现于法国的下诺曼底沉积层[2]。
种[编辑]
远距鳄曾经有三个种：模式种T. calvadosii、T. bathonicus、以及T. gaudryi，化石都发现于法国下诺曼底卡尔瓦多斯省的侏罗纪中期地层。目前只有模式种T. calvadosii是有效种。其他两种都被建立为新属，Eoneustes[3]。
模式种是在1866年由Jacques Amand Eudes-Deslongchamps命名，当时为真蜥鳄的一种，Teleosaurus calvadosii[4]。三年后，他的儿子Eugène Eudes-Deslongchamps将该种建立为新属，更名为Teleidosaurus calvadosii[5]。根据近年的亲缘分支分类法研究，远距鳄并非单系群[1][6]。
远距鳄的正模标本在二次大战被轰炸。副模标本（编号NHM R.2681）是一个完整头颅骨与下颌。塑模标本（编号NHM 32612）是一个破碎的右下颌[3]。
