NGC 3109是一个位在长蛇座的螺旋星系，距离地球430万光年，属于本星系团的一员。目前发现NGC 3109可能会与唧筒座矮星系相撞。 [5] [4]NGC 3109在1835年3月24日由约翰·弗里德里希·威廉·赫歇尔发现于南非。
