尖胸下纲（学名：Acrothoracica）是蔓足亚纲（藤壶）之下三个下纲之一，包括有寄生于螺壳螺柱内的钻孔藤壶。 2021年，本分类单元被升格成为一个下纲[2]。
本下纲物种均为雌雄异体，也就是说：一只尖胸藤壶的个体只可能是雌性或雄性，而不会是雌雄同体。有时，一种矮小化的雄性个体会被发现附着于雌体的外套膜或栖管上。发育中的幼体可能会跳过无节幼体阶段，但一定会经历金星幼虫（cyprid）[3]这个阶段。它们长有几丁质的牙齿，从浮游的金星幼虫附着变态成固着的稚体，会使用这些牙齿摩擦表面并开始挖洞[4][3]。
现时尖胸下纲由两个目、三个科、11个属和63个物种组成[5]，但估算尚有不少属于尖胸下纲的物种尚未被辨识出来[4]。
分类[编辑]
无论是2001年的马丁和戴维斯[1]或2006年的Buckeridge & Newman[6]，尖胸总目都被分为有肛目和无肛目两个目：
2009年，尖胸下纲重组成为以下两个目[7]：
- 石尖胸目 Cryptophialida Kolbasov, Newman & Hoeg, 2009
- 石尖胸科 Cryptophialidae Gerstaecker, 1866
- 石凿目 Lithoglyptida Kolbasov, Newman & Hoeg, 2009
原来的两个目成为了石凿目的异名。
