新英格兰棉尾兔（学名：Sylvilagus transitionalis） 是一种分布于美国新英格兰部分地区，即缅因州南部至纽约州南部的棉尾兔，其标准标准采于康乃狄克州新伦敦县[3]。与东部棉尾兔很相似。
由于数量与栖地的减少，本种可能会被纳入《濒危物种法》的保护范围。在一些两种共生的地区，狩猎被限制，以保护馀下的种群。[4]
