甲基单胞菌属（学名：Methylomonas）为甲基球菌目甲基球菌科的一属好氧或兼性厌氧发酵型革兰氏阴性杆菌。直、弯或分枝的杆菌。此属的模式种为甲烷甲基单胞菌(Methylomonas methanica)。
