鼠蝉蟹属（学名：Emerita）是十足目异尾下目蝉蟹总科蝉蟹科下的一个属。这些小动物在沙里挖洞穴，并用自己的触角的帮助下进行滤食[3][4]。
分类[编辑]
鼠蝉蟹属这一个属是由来自奥匈帝国蒂罗尔的医生及生物学家乔瓦尼·安东尼奥·斯科波利于1777年在其著作《自然史入门》（Introductio ad Historiam Naturalem）里建立[5]，摸式种是鼠蝉蟹（旧称Cancer emeritus，今作E. emeritus），当时这个属的唯一物种[2][1]。
分布[编辑]
本属在热带及亚热带地区有广泛分布。然而，有关物种在分布区内的活跃范围很细，而且不与其他同物种生物重叠[6]。本物种在美国的大西洋与太平洋沿岸，以及非洲的大西洋沿岸均很常见；其亲属物种蝉蟹属的分布则略有不同，位于太平印度洋区，包括澳大利亚[7]。

本属跟同属蝉蟹科的蝉蟹属（Emerita）关系密切，两属间亦曾彼此交换过所属物种[6]。
